I love how the quietude is measured by the sound that a leaf makes. That is quiet! In my neighborhood you will never hear a leaf drop…it’s simply too loud, today…there is a different loud machine for each day of the week. It’s very difficult to find a place close to home, where you can hear a leaf drop. If you can, then I’m very happy for you. I love that sound. I hear it, usually in the deep woods, away from society. Beautiful words, David!
